morning after

…because spain won the championship last night.

it’s sad. but they played so much better than “we” did. the german newspaper süddeutsche wrote an a-typical and funny live summary - for those who couldn’t watch the match (for whatever reason??!).
and, thank god, there is one good thing about last night and the euro being over: christoph metzelder shaved his beard off and we can finally see his handsome face again. i didn’t find a picture from last night on which he is his old self again, so we have to stick to my favorite youtube video….i wish i had a metzelder:

congrats to spain. and coming home second place is really good. i’m looking forward to the reception in berlin this afternoon!
